It's pretty cool when a door suddenly opens in your home territory - and there are so many more beautiful trails waiting behind it. At least that's how it seemed to me and my mates when the border between the Ore Mountains and the Czech Republic suddenly loosened and we could just crank across. The first riders quickly returned from their rides and the stories of super trails were literally overflowing. But there was a lot of talk about one of these descents in particular. But you know what they say: even in the Ore Mountains, bikers are full of yarns. But since I was there, I know why this trail of all trails in the neighbouring Czech Republic is called the Czech Trail.
