Bikepark Spicak in the big comparison test
Spicak is located in the Bohemian Forest, just over the German border. Only 20 minutes by car from the Bikepark Bischofsmais.

A fast 4-seater chairlift takes visitors (340 metres in altitude) to the summit station. From there, three main routes lead down into the valley. One downhill and two freeride runs. Our favourite: the Black Friday. The freeride descent is peppered with well-built stunts: Gaps, tables, drops and kickers. There is flow here and the features are equipped with decent landings. This makes the runs safe and attracts newcomers to the park, who can easily get to grips with wooden gimmicks here. Unfortunately, there are fewer freeride features in Forest Virgin. The downhill run Struggle has it all. The name says it all. Stones, rock steps, jumps and technical passages make the descent appealing for downhill cracks. Park newcomers and bike park visitors without a big bike are better off avoiding the descent.

Conclusion Spicak offers flow and well-built freeride stunts. Beginners can feel their way around perfectly here. Bravo!

Born in South Baden, Laurin Lehner is, by his own admission, a lousy racer. Maybe that's why he is fascinated by creative, playful biking. What counts for him is not how fast you get from A to B, but what happens in between. Lehner writes reports, interviews scene celebrities and tests products and bikes - preferably those with a lot of suspension travel.
