252 kilometre tour of the Finnish archipelago
Exactly 6757 islands form the archipelago between Sweden and Finland at the entrance to the Gulf of Bothnia. Although it belongs to Finland, the official language is Swedish. Beaches and small coastal towns characterise the daily landscape.

The archipelagos are all fairly flat and small, but are still ideal for cycling tours. Ferries run between the archipelago. However, you should familiarise yourself with the timetables beforehand and possibly even reserve a place for yourself and your bike in the summer months.

Character

The islands are numerous, flat and mostly small. Car traffic is limited.
