I don't know how many times I've heard these phrases: "Rob, you absolutely have to ride this trail" and "you have to go here and there and there..." To be honest, I can't listen to it anymore. I've come back disappointed too often from these supposed dream trails. So I wasn't particularly motivated when photographer Markus Greber tried to entice me. The trail in Neukirchen am Großvenediger was "insane". I didn't really have time, but Markus doesn't let up when he's convinced of something. So I went along after all. A few locals were already waiting for us in Neukirchen. As we greet each other, I can clearly feel their anticipation, I have the feeling that they want to get on their bikes straight away. But it's already pitch dark. So I still have to curb my curiosity. It's not until the next morning that I get my first idea of what this area on the Wildkogel has to offer from the gondola.
