Austria: MTB area guide Ischgl
In the high alpine world of the Paznaun Valley, the trails wind around peaks, ridges and crests. Many of them have been shaped for bikers, some of them are completely new. MTB enjoyment above Ischgl!

Character - by the way, that's a good keyword for Ischgl: you don't get anything served up on a silver platter here. Some of the real highlights can only be discovered after a thorough study of the map. Trial and error. Despite the cable cars and winter infrastructure, there is still a touch of adventure and rugged originality here in summer. In harsh winters, the Paznaun is sometimes cut off from the outside world for weeks at a time. And so, despite all the tourism, the valley has retained an original, honest side. The people are straightforward and know how to appreciate and respect life and their mountains. But for all their love of adventure, people here like to take the lift first. The mountain massifs in the Silvretta are impressive. If you step out of the comfort zone of the wellness hotels into one of the cable cars and get off your bike at the top of the Idjoch, you first get a breath of fresh air. The air is thin at almost 2,800 metres above sea level and the mountains are quite rugged.
