Flow Country - Petzen (AUT)
There's flow here. Trail builder Diddie Schneider has made sure of that. After his "Flow Country" debut on the Geißkopf in the Bavarian Forest, he has now carved out the longest flow country trail in the world in southern Carinthia. Over a full 10 kilometres and 1000 metres in altitude, an approximately 2-metre-wide rolling chippings track undulates down the slope. Never too steep or dangerous. Ideal for park newcomers, who can safely move their bike from one turn to the next and gain their first bike park experience. Top!

Eebme Line - Sölden (AUT)
The mercenaries build one track after the other. The Eebme Line is new and particularly suitable for park beginners. Good: unlike typical flow routes, it winds its way down into the valley as a narrow single trail over 190 metres in altitude. Bends, waves and small jumps keep riders entertained. Those who have had enough of the Eebme Line can ride themselves dizzy on the Teare Line flow trail with its 130 berms and 800 metres of altitude difference. The only downside to Sölden is that the bike season doesn't start here until June.

Wiesenalm Trail - Zillertal (AUT)
The Wiesenalm Trail is a built single trail that leads over 700 metres in altitude down into the valley on forest floor. However, the trail is not quite as smooth as the flow competition. You have to hold on to the handlebars during root passages. Small waves, varied bends and jumps are fun and sensational. Tip: Combine the descent with the Isskogel trails in Gerlos - these can be reached after a few panoramic kilometres thanks to the high trail.

Freeride trail - Bikepark Willingen (GER)
On the Ettelsberg in Willingen, two routes lead over 200 metres in altitude down into the valley. Park novices choose the freeride trail. It curves over 1.6 kilometres into the valley as a wide, weatherproof crushed sand track. The well-sized table jumps can be rolled over. If you're confident enough, you can try the Northshore ladders, which run parallel to the trail as an option - but beware: there are also drops here. Also good: the short singletrail options.

Erich Popp - Bikepark Schöneck (GER)
Two years ago, the bike park in Vogtland was given a facelift thanks to EU funding. Since then, the Erich Popp beginners' trail has also undulated as a flowline to the valley station. Admittedly, at just over 1.2 kilometres and around 130 metres in altitude, the trail is not particularly long, but it is ideal and fun for park newcomers who don't want to make the long journey south. Also good: the long season and the practice course at the mountain station.

Tutti Frutti Trails - Livigno (ITA)
Beginner lines attract a particularly large number of bikers. Livigno has realised it! At Carosello 3000, the Italians have created several lines for park newcomers. Most of the routes meander smoothly over 3 to 4 kilometres on wide crushed sand tracks into the valley. Livigno is planning a total of ten trails with a total length of 45 kilometres. The project has not yet been finalised, but we know: The current trails are already worth a trip. Livigno's drawback: the season doesn't start until June.
