The return: Europe's exhibition for the finest cycling culture
After two years away from the trade fair scene, CYCLINGWOLRD EUROPE, Europe's exhibition for the finest cycling culture, is returning to Düsseldorf.

The growing interest in bicycles has been impressively demonstrated by the industry figures in recent months. After two years away from the trade fair scene, CYCLINGWOLRD EUROPE, Europe's exhibition for the finest cycling culture, is returning to Düsseldorf. Contrary to all forecasts, the trade fair is once again recording growth for 2022. More than 310 national and international exhibitors and over 450 brands are expected from the 18 - 20 March 2022 on site at the Areal Böhler.

One of the largest trade fairs of its kind in Europe in terms of exhibitors is not only expanding its event area by a third hall, but has also extended the test area of Demoworld, where visitors can test ride bikes and e-bikes from around 100 manufacturers, by around 30 per cent.

With this unique trade fair concept, initiator Stefan Maly and his project manager Torsten Abels have been pursuing the vision of presenting high-quality, innovative and stylish products from the world of bicycles and e-bikes in all their diversity in a stylish and high-quality manner since 2017. "At CYCLINGWOLRD EUROPE, we offer visitors a truly spectacular ambience that invites them to become even more enthusiastic about the world of bikes and familiarise themselves with its wide range of products. We bring manufacturers, importers, dealers and other bike business insiders together with consumers. We bring together young and old, bike experts and cycling novices," says Stefan Maly, CEO of CYCLINGWOLRD EUROPE.

Anyone who has not yet visited the annual lifestyle bike fair in Düsseldorf can also look forward to a varied programme including sporting activities in 2022: This year, there will once again be a cyclocross race, a single-speed criterium and a large children's bike course, among other things. The cyclocross race on Saturday evening will once again support the charitable initiative Vision:Teilen with a contribution of 10.00 euros per starter.

"We wanted CYCLINGWOLRD EUROPE to become the jour fixe for the entire cycling industry in Europe. The growing number of exhibitors - even in times of the pandemic - shows us that our vision has been well received. Düsseldorf is a perfect location for this trade fair, as the city is located in Germany's largest conurbation with over 11 million inhabitants. The nearby train stations and airports make it easy to reach other German cities and neighbouring countries, which is not only attractive for international exhibitors, but also for trade fair visitors," says Project Manager Torsten Abels.
