Swapfiets cooperates with Tchibo
Renting bikes instead of buying them - the Dutch company Swapfiets has teamed up with Tchibo to market its subscriptions in Germany.

Also for bicycle subscription providers Swapfiets the times during the corona lockdown were associated with considerable restrictions. All stationary Swapfiets stations in Germany were closed.

Now the company from the Netherlands is shifting up a gear again in the marketing of its bikes, relying on the cooperation and reach of Tchibo. The coffee roaster and retailer is now offering the Swapfiets bike subscription on its online platform - at a "special price", as Tchibo puts it. This is because the usual registration fee of 15 euros is waived as part of the twelve-week promotion. After ordering online, users can collect their subscription bike from one of the now 30 Swapfiets stores in Germany - or have it delivered to their home.

Swapfiets is available in the following German cities: Aachen, Berlin, Bonn, Braunschweig, Bremen, Darmstadt, Dresden, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt am Main, Freiburg, Göttingen, Halle (Saale), Hamburg, Hanover, Heidelberg, Karlsruhe, Kiel, Cologne, Leipzig, Lübeck, Mainz, Mannheim, Munich, Münster, Offenbach, Oldenburg, Osnabrück, Potsdam, Stuttgart, Wiesbaden

The offer is limited to the "Original" Dutch bike for 16.50 euros per month and the "Deluxe 7" city bike for 19.50 euros.
The e-bikes from Swapfiets, which have also recently become available for subscription, are not included in the cooperation with Tchibo.

More information about the offer at Tchibo is available here and more info about Swapfiets here.
