Following the takeover of motor manufacturer Fazua and the Croatian e-bike brand Greyp, Porsche announces the sports car manufacturer's future plans in the e-bike sector.

Together with the Dutch company Ponooc Investment B.B., Porsche has founded two joint venture companies. The car manufacturer intends to further expand its involvement in the e-bike sector.

Porsche's e-bike plans for the future

Porsche eBike Performance GmbH, which incorporates Fazua GmbH, continues to develop compact drive systems for lightweight e-bikes. In addition, particularly powerful performance motors are developed under the Porsche brand name for use on performance-orientated e-bikes and e-MTBs.

Porsche is therefore likely to become a competitor for existing manufacturers of E-bike motors such as Bosch, Shimano and Co. In addition to selling the motors to e-bike manufacturers, the company also plans to expand its own range of bikes. Porsche is aiming to sell its own motors and bikes worldwide from around mid-2025.
