When does the bike season start?
Kurt Resch, Bio- & BikeHotel Steineggerhof: With us at Easter. In the south of South Tyrol at the beginning of March, in Vinschgau and Meraner Land at the beginning of April. In Brixen and the Dolomites it starts in mid-May. The Sellaronda should be open from 18 June to 29 September.

Are there any new BikeHotels?
Kurt: Yes, the Gassenwirt in Val Pusteria/Pustertal and the B&B byRosi in Merano/Meran.
If I use komoot, do I need a guide?
Luis: komoot is a great app. But between you and me: no app in the world can replace a local guide!
Is the rumour true that Italy prohibits biking on forest roads?
Kurt and Luis: No. It was much ado about nothing.
