The From the Specialised Sram Enduro Series shocked the scene. Former four-cross world champion Michal Prokop refused to be defeated and took the initiative. In the newly emerging Trail centre Lipnonear the German-Czech border near Passau, Prokop organised a two-day enduro race, attracting almost 300 bikers to the province.
Four bike park trails, a three-kilometre flow trail and a number of natural trails around the Lipno reservoir offered ideal conditions to determine the fastest rider. There was no training before the race, so the routes were safe and without any major obstacles.
Race organiser Prokop didn't have time to ride the race himself, but the pictures show that he still had plenty to do. There was a family atmosphere throughout the weekend, with the shared biking experience ultimately being more important than the position on the results list.
The Lipno trail centre is not yet fully completed, but some trails are already open.
