On 31 May/1 June 2014, the SportScheck Mountain Bike Festival Tegernsee Valley will kick off for the 11th time in Rottach-Egern. In addition to the bike marathons, there will also be a race for e-mountain bikes.

On the weekend of 31 May and 1 June 2014 - when the German World Cup also takes place in Albstadt - the marathon elite will meet at the MTB Festival Tegernsee Valley. Challenging routes, a family atmosphere and well thought-out organisation make the festival an important meeting point for bikers from the foothills of the Alps and from Munich. The popular Tegernsee Festival has developed into a superlative bike event in recent years and organises one of the largest MTB marathons in Germany with 3,500 starters. Four challenging routes await marathon fans at the Haibike MTB Marathon.

Tegernsee Festival: Into the race with electric drive

The first Haibike eMountain bike race on Sunday, 1 June at 09:00 is an absolute highlight. After the premiere in 2013 literally fell through, the bike manufacturer from Lower Franconia is now starting a new attempt. Sporty eBike and pedelec fans will get their money's worth on the 22-kilometre circuit. A total of 600 metres in altitude have to be overcome on the technically demanding route.
