After two consecutive cancellations, there is finally a ray of hope: the Black Forest Ultra Bike Marathon will take place from 15 to 17 July in 2022. Riders can expect revised routes with new, interesting sections on the tried-and-tested classic laps as well as a new event schedule, which for the first time includes the starting signal on Saturday morning and a biker party in the evening. The date for the next edition of the Kronplatz King is certain: the starting shot will be fired on 3 September 2022. The 64-kilometre course with a total of 3150 metres in altitude has been adapted this year to include nine kilometres of singletrack. The Online registration for the race in the Puster Valley is already open and offers an early bird discount.
At the Ischgl Ironbike Marathon from 3 to 6 August 2022, you can choose between four routes: Light, Medium, Hard and Extreme. There is also the individual time trial, the short track race and the night-time Alpenhaus Trophy on the Idalp. All four races can be completed by amateurs and professionals. Kids can show what they've got at the Kids & Junior Trophy. A fox hunt for e-mountain bikers and a colourful supporting programme with guided tours against the impressive backdrop of the Silvretta massif are also on the programme. The dates for the Mountain Bike Challenge have been finalised. The list includes nine marathon events in the German-Austrian border region. Watch out: Three marathons will be held on the same weekend at the end of June. However, anyone who completes Trieb and Pfronten or Kirchberg and Pfronten will receive 100 special points for the overall ranking! For 2022, the Season ticket which is available immediately.
