John Quintana, the genius behind the Schwalbe Clik Valve, invented it with the aim of enabling his kids to inflate their bikes themselves. The American tried out the system together with his children, who became enthusiastic testers. No wonder: the valve can be operated with just two fingers and is great fun to use.

With various conversion kits, existing SV or DV valves can be converted to the Schwalbe Clik Valve. By the way: If the bike has been converted to Clik Valve, you can still use your favourite old SKS floor pump. All you have to do is exchange the pump head of the floor pump and replace it with the SKS CLIK TEC pump head. This means that existing pumps remain in use. This saves resources and protects the environment.
