Crankbrothers is probably a household name for every biker. Especially in the touring and gravity segment, the pedals and shoes from the Americans have become indispensable. Various models are now available as a so-called Topo Edition. We show you what it's all about.

The latest new product from Crankbrothers is not a completely new development. Instead, the designers have taken existing products and given them a new look. In addition to the Mallet E LS clipless pedal and the Stamp 7 flat pedal, the Stamp E Lace flat pedal shoe and the Mallet E Speed Lace all-mountain and enduro shoe have also been given a makeover.

The design is based on a green-tinted grey (Slate) and is marked with topographical lines (Topo) - just like you would see on a map. However, the designers did not choose the course of the lines at random. They show the topography of the Santa Ana Mountains in California. The trails that meander through the mountain range along the Pacific coast of Southern California are the origin of Crankbrothers' company history.

Prices of Crankbrothers' new Topo collection

The price of the Stamp E Lace (clipless shoe) in the new design is 169.99 euros instead of 149.99 euros. On the other hand, those travelling on flat pedals will continue to pay the regular price of 149.99 euros for the Stamp Speed Lace in the Topo design. The pedals are a different story: Here, the Mallet E LS costs 179.99 euros, while the standard colour variants cost 189.99 euros. The same applies to the Stamp 7 platform pedals.
