The XC9 shoes are among the top performers in Shimao's Mountain bike shoe collection S-Phyre. The models are designed to help mountain bikers achieve top performance. The manufacturers are not only committed to quality, but also want to fulfil visual wishes. This is why Shimano is expanding the colour selection of the top-class racing shoe in the coming autumn. One You can find a detailed test of the Shimano XC9 here.
The lightweight XC9 from Shimano's S-Phyre series is designed for fast cross-country riders and marathon bikers. Thanks to the flat sole height, external heel cup, carbon fibre midsole and Michelin rubber sole, the shoe offers stability and maximum power transfer. The special last design with a slight toe elevation is designed for efficient pedalling and the BOA twist locks ensure quick and precise adjustment. The Shimano shoes are equipped with an SPD click system. The Japanese MTB shoe is available in sizes 38 to 50, while sizes 41 to 47 are also available in a wider version - so you don't have to resort to a larger shoe if you have a wide instep.
The XC9 range is currently adorned with shoes in blue and black. From autumn 2020, the colour palette will be expanded with a silver model. However, the green version had to make way for this.
