The M3B from Fizik is surprisingly wide for a sporty racing shoe from Italy, but this has a positive effect on comfort.

A thin insole and the stiff carbon sole ensure that the Fizik M3B direct power transmission to the pedal. The stable upper material provides a firm grip, while the reinforced toe box protects against rock contact. Tiny rubber studs ensure heel hold. When walking, the hard sole lacks grip, especially on stony ground. The Boa twist fastener is quick and easy to use, but does not provide enough traction in the front area. In addition, the threading makes it reluctant to open, which makes it difficult to put on and take off.
