It's a nuisance - sometimes the neoprene overshoe gets caught on the cleat, sometimes on the shoe fastener, sometimes it doesn't close properly, sometimes it pinches the calf. The only problem is that in winter, the warming overshoe is indispensable for bikers - it is the only reliable protection against blue toes. But if you want to ride in winter, you're prepared to make compromises anyway: So we don't let minor annoyances upset us - the main thing is that the shoe keeps you warm. Our thermography and practical test shows whether our seven candidates manage this.
