Very lightweight casual shoe with low sole rigidity. The outsole rolls very well, but the tread is not very pronounced and offers little grip.

Conclusion Very light leisure shoe with low sole stiffness. The fastening only puts a little tension on the flexible upper material, which makes you feel a little unsteady on the pedals. The outsole rolls very well, but the tread is not very pronounced and offers little grip.

BIKE judgement² GOOD

A flexible toe area increases the walking comfort of the Pearl Izumi. However, if the rest of the sole is just as soft, power transfer and stability on the pedals will suffer.Photo: Georg Grieshaber A flexible toe area increases the walking comfort of the Pearl Izumi.
