Conclusion Sporty and flat-cut shoe with top stiffness but low running comfort. Upper material provides good protection against impacts and splashing water, but is not very well ventilated. Boa fastener provides little traction on the forefoot. No optimum heel hold.

BIKE judgement² GOOD

The sturdy material over the toes of the Five Ten offers plenty of protection against stone contact and splash water, but leaves the foot hardly any air to breathe.Photo: Georg Grieshaber The sturdy material over the toes of the Five Ten offers plenty of protection against stone contact and splash water, but leaves the foot hardly any air to breathe.
