Endurance test: Suplest Supzero Crosscountry Carbon shoes
On the way to the bike, the Supzero makes you feel like you're about to set off on a leisurely after-work tour.

You stroll comfortably with a secure step and stable tread, instead of stumbling and tripping as is usual with racing shoes. There is also enough room for wide feet. Despite this, the Supzero still allows you to pedal hard. The stiff carbon sole transfers power perfectly to the pedals. The seamless upper material holds the foot firmly in the shoe. Special anti-slip material has been used for better heel hold. The comfortable race shoe is also available with a ratchet fastening, but we found the Velcro fastening perfectly adequate.

Stefan Frey is from Lower Bavaria and loves the mossy, loamy trails of the Bavarian Forest as much as the rugged rock of the Dolomites. For technical descents, he is prepared to tackle almost any ascent - under his own steam. As an accessories specialist, he is the first port of call for questions about equipment and add-on parts, while as head of copywriting he sweeps the language crumbs from the pages of the BIKE print editions.
