Endurance test: Sidi Drako Carbon SRS shoes
Sidi charges a lot of money for its top model, with which Schurter and Absalon also bring their world champion power to the pedals.
In addition to the very stiff carbon sole, the shoe has many well thought-out details. The two Sidi twist fasteners with adjustable suspension allow the shoe to be perfectly adapted to the foot and secured in place for sprinting. The width of the heel cap can also be adjusted, which greatly improves the heel hold. The Drako sits firmly in every situation, but doesn't pinch even after several hours. After a year of endurance testing, only the upper material at the front edge has become slightly detached from the sole. When walking, the Sidi is very wobbly due to the narrow tread spacing.
