BIKE-Transalp, National Park Marathon, Auerberg, Willingen: just some of the tough racing kilometres that the Northwave racing shoe endured last season.

I still rave about the fit for my flat foot and the comfort. Although the toes are not ventilated excessively, the seamless Biomap design offers plenty of support and toe protection, even when running. The combination of ratchet and its own twist-wire system provides a reliable grip. All in all, a comfortable, stiff racing shoe with an eye-catching guarantee. Unfortunately, the upper buckle broke in November in the USA - a layer of armour tape had to help out.
