Crankbrothers' new trail and enduro shoes are real sofas for your feet - softly padded and extremely comfortable.

Boa and Velcro fasteners securely fasten the foot in the most expensive of the three shoe variants. Thanks to the large and angled cleat channel, you can reliably find your way into the pedals and stand securely with good freedom of movement. The seamless material looks stylish, protects very well against splashing water, but is likely to get quite sweaty in summer. We didn't get cold feet on our test rides despite the five-degree outside temperature.

PLUS Grippy sole

MINUS very expensive.

Weight 1046 grams in size 46

Price 199 Euro

For technical descents, he is prepared to tackle almost any ascent - under his own steam. As an accessories specialist, he is the first port of call for questions about equipment and add-on parts, while as head of copywriting he sweeps the language crumbs from the pages of the BIKE print editions.
