For just 50 euros, the new Bluegrass knee pads offer lightweight protection on a budget.

This version of the Skinny uses a combination of foam and a thin plastic cap as a protector. Bluegrass relies on D30 foam for the premium version of the Skinny, which is twice as expensive. Even without width adjustment, the very light pads do not slip and are very comfortable to wear even on long tours. Due to the rather flat moulded knee cap, the fit is somewhat narrower and not anatomically ideal.
