Comfortable knee pad: ION K-Lite in a practical check
The main arguments against knee pads are their weight and their fit, especially on longer, pedalling-intensive tours. With the extra-lightweight K_Lite protector, Ion has declared war on these points of criticism.

Even on extended tours, the protectors don't pinch a bit thanks to the open back of the knee. However, due to the lack of width adjustment, you should try on the normal K_Lite beforehand. Even if the upper, rubberised leg cuff slips down a little when riding for long periods, the K_Lite with moulded cap always stay in place and sit firmly on the calf. A combination of plastic cap and thin Sastec foam (removable for washing) provides the necessary protection on demanding tours.

CONCLUSION Safety first: lightweight protection for the knees with high wearing comfort.

PLUS Lightweight, comfortable to wear, non-slip fit
MINUS No width adjustment
