Pro tips on tyres, rear derailleur and loose bolts
Stubborn tyre, rattling rear derailleur, loose screw? European mechanic champion Florian Ohnesorg knows a thousand little tips and tricks. He told us which ones will help every DIY mechanic.

These master tips will help you get ahead:

1. well lubricated: Hardly anything determines the riding characteristics of a bike as much as the suspension elements. No wonder that many bikers are passionate about their forks and shocks. But beware: many supposed miracle products on the market attack the rubber of the seals, which can lead to serious damage. Please only use products recommended by the manufacturer. Have the fork and shock serviced by a specialist every 12 to 18 months. If you want to do something good for your suspension from time to time, you can lubricate the wipers from time to time. Each manufacturer has its own special product for this purpose.
