How to protect the MTB frame from scratches and abrasion
The paintwork shines in new splendour, the bearings run as smoothly as on the first day. Now it's time to protect the frame from the rigours of outdoor use.


They need to protect the chain stay:
1. side cutters for clincher tyres
2. cable ties as sturdy as possible
3. household scissors
4. adhesive tape
5. old racing bike tyre
6. old bicycle inner tube

(1) Wired tyres are best shortened to the length of the chainstay using a side cutter. Normal scissors are sufficient for Kevlar tyres.
