Steve Peat is the quintessential English racing legend. The trained plumber and ex-world champion from Sheffield always has a light-hearted line up his sleeve and tells us his favourite songs.

Steve Peat knows how to party. And how to work professionally. The 45-year-old "Peaty" has won 17 Downhill World Cups, was world champion and a role model for a whole squad of downhillers from Great Britain. An old-school downhill pro who never gave up beer during the season, who partied until the early hours of the morning, only to be back on his bike a few hours later rocking the World Cup tracks of the world. In 2008, Peat was awarded an honorary doctorate from Sheffield Hallam University. In 2016, the 1.91 metre tall Brit ended his active racing career after more than 20 years. Since then, he has been touring the globe with the Santa Cruz Syndicate team and passing on his knowledge to younger riders. Steve Peat has revealed his 21 favourite songs to us. A really successful mix, we think. Cheers!
