That's art, isn't it?
A racing cyclist who crashes while shitting, water skiing, lots of bare skin and studded tyres again and again - the clip "Tripin" is truly no simple bike film. So make sure you watch it!

Pithy fantasies, garish colours, naked skin and role clichés ad nauseam - the bike film "Tripin" doesn't want to be a bike film at all, but rather "an abstract mixture of high-quality cinematic [sic] shots, paired with funny bullshit scenes and good action". This is how filmmaker Frank Marbet describes his latest production in his own words. The film stars the Austrian fun biker Stevie Schneider.

Whether this is art and, if so, what the artist wanted to tell us with his work, we will of course not answer and will refrain from any attempts at interpretation. We are happy to leave that to the fans in the comments on YouTube and instead keep it like the great Pablo Picasso, who is said to have once said: "If I knew what art was, I would keep it to myself."

Marbet and Schneider, it should be emphasised, were pursuing the "main goal of having a good time with friends on the mountain, lake or in the bike park during the shoot and being as productive and creative as possible", according to a PR message sent out specifically for the project. Here's the result, if you please:

Sebastian Brust was born in 1979 and was originally socialised on his grandmother's folding bike, but has mainly been riding studded tyres since his fifth birthday. Loves all kinds of bikes - and merging with nature. Believes that disc brakes are much safer today than they were 15 years ago and thinks he has helped with his brake and pad tests. However, the trained vehicle technology engineer very much regrets that the bicycle industry is orientating itself on what he considers to be the wrong ideals of the car industry. At BIKE, he corrects, produces and organises digital content on the website.
