Women power

For Hannah Bergemann, seen in Big Water in the Utah segment of the film, the film is an important step for the development of women in freeride mountain biking: "We women have developed extremely well in recent years. We now ride the sickest lines at a whole range of events. It's incredible to see women at the big events like Crankworx Slopestyle and later this year at Red Bull Rampage. The fact that we are now also more strongly represented in big films like ANYTIME is just mega."

German slopestyle ace

German slopestyle high-flyer Patricia Druwen received several World's Firsts during the film production: "I'd never been involved in a film project of this size before. It was super cool to see everything behind the scenes. The most exciting moment for me was when we started filming. I'd never been to the Bike Kingdom Park Lenzerheide before and I thought the course was super playful and really cool. I found the big jumps particularly challenging because I'd never ridden anything like that on my big bike before. The film is super exciting to watch, even if you're not into biking."

ANYTIME takes viewers on a journey around the world, to breathtaking and challenging terrain, some of which was uncharted mountain biking territory. At the same time, the film represents a milestone for the female freeride movement, which is entering a whole new era this year thanks to both the strong presence of women in ANYTIME and the historic moment at Red Bull Rampage.

Women at the Rampage

In fact, the film and the 18th edition of Red Bull Rampage some overlaps in the line-up: Vaea Verbeeck, Robin Goomes, Cami Nogueira, Casey Brown and Vinny Armstrong will not only be showing off their style in ANYTIME, but will also be making history at the biggest and most spectacular mountain bike freeride event in the world in October, when the best female freeriders will be competing in Virgin, Utah for the first time. Of the men, Carson Storch and Thomas Genon aka Tommy G will be able to give a foretaste of their Red Bull Rampage performances in ANYTIME.
