Jonas Deichmann: The video for his Trans America Twice Tour
After Jonas Deichmann successfully crossed the USA first by bike and then on foot, the video for "Trans America Twice", the 10,500-kilometre tour, is now available: Crossing America is the name of the almost 54-minute recap on YouTube.

Jonas Deichmann announces the video on his Instagram channel (217,000 followers) with a few sober words:

The film about my "Transamerica Twice" adventure is out and available on my YouTube channel 🎥🍿 More than 5,000 km on the gravelbike from New York to Los Angeles and then back on foot in 100 days. Four months of adventures and so many great memories. The link is in my stories. 🎥 @weinbergmarcus and @abavtsh

The film shows in condensed form what the 36-year-old extreme athlete has achieved over the summer. On 28 June 2023, he set off from New York on the east coast of the USA and initially cycled 5,500 kilometres across the States to Los Angeles, West Coast.

Then an extended break - of just one day. And Jonas Deichmann starts his next challenge: running back to New York, where he arrived after 100 days on 4 November. During this period, he completed an ultramarathon every day. He always pulled a small trailer behind him with his equipment. As a bonus, he ran the New York Marathon on 5 November - without a trailer.

The result is a film that Jonas Deichmann made together with Markus Weinberg. Weinberg knows what such undertakings are all about, as he is not only a film producer but also a former cyclist. He also shot the film "Jonas Deichmann - Das Limit bin nur ich" together with Jonas back in 2022. So, let yourself be inspired, informed, but by no means frustrated because you would never have achieved such a feat. Just this much: Jonas Deichmann practised a lot beforehand...! A few days ago (on 13.1.24) there was a post on Insta by:

My training week in numbers:
- 21 training sessions and 37 hours
- 5 core strengthening sessions on the beach 💪
- 12.5 km swimming in the sea 🏊‍♂️
- 410 km gravel cycling 🚴
- 100 km trail running 🏃‍♂️

But even more important for us fans, followers and interested parties is the sentence: "4 months of training to go until my next big project 🎯". So it remains exciting.
