Jolanda Neff and the Kross Racing Team are ending their collaboration after two successful years and numerous World Cup victories and titles. "Together with the Kross Racing Team, I have achieved everything I wanted. We have stood on numerous podiums together at the most important races in the UCI MTB World Cup and the World Championships," says the 25-year-old Swiss rider. Neff became women's cross-country world champion in Cairns in 2017 and secured the European Championship title in Glasgow in 2018. She also won the overall World Cup classification in 2018. Neff currently leads the UCI women's world rankings and recently also took part in the Road World Championships in Innsbruck. "The past two years at Kross have been simply incredible. We have achieved almost all of our goals in terms of racing. It's a dream come true! I will never forget this time," says Neff about the past two years.
From 2019, Jolanda Neff will be racing in the Trek Factory Racing jersey alongside Emily Batty. Neff will continue to focus on MTB racing, but will also occasionally ride Trek bikes in cyclocross and on the road. "I'm extremely excited to be part of the Trek family. I love Trek as a brand and I love their philosophy of pushing strong women's projects alongside the men's teams. I also enjoy the fact that I can compete in MTB, cyclocross and road, all in the same team family. It has always been a lifelong dream of mine to race at the highest level with the fastest bikes in various disciplines. I've found the perfect partner for this," says Neff about her team switch. At Neff's home World Championships in Lenzerheide in 2018, Canadian Emily Batty snatched the bronze medal from her. Batty now says of her new team-mate: "I'm thrilled that Jolanda is on board with Trek. I'm sure we'll be able to push each other in training and racing." Trek has thus secured the services of two top riders in the MTB World Cup for the coming years.
