Specialist in self-promotion: bike influencer Elias Schwärzler
Elias Schwärzler (29) is a multi-talent. Stunts, adventures, records, coaching, action documentaries on Amazon Prime, etc. - the influencer from Austria seems restless. He speaks plainly in this interview.

Elias Schwärzler became famous when he made the legendary Sick series together with Fabio Wibmer. Elias now runs his own company with 19 permanent employees. His dream is to run a bike school with its own bike park.

Elias in Statements: What I always wanted to say...

My favourite motto is: Don't quit! Fight for it! Never give up. I've even got a tattoo of it.
Young people who want to be cool at all costs, who have to drink two beers before biking, etc. That gives me nightmares. That gives me nightmares.
During our "Senders Academy" festival in the Geisskopf bike park, lightning struck the lift station. Thank goodness nobody was hurt. I was biting my fist with happiness!
Perfect deep snow for powder runs while skiing - I can't resist that and Formula 1 when I'm zapping through the TV programme.
There are many crazy bike stunts. But the jumps that Fabio Wibmer did in the "Urban Freeride Lives" videos are crazy. Sick risk! Nobody else out there would do that!
My greatest test of courage was the world record attempt: "Mission 300" on a production bike. I managed 272 km/h. I had to scrape together all my courage for that.
I've already said goodbye to one dream: To be big. That ship has sailed!
I can really laugh about everything!
My biggest fashion sin? Skinny jeans! Unfortunately, they're out now. I still wear them.
I've noticed that the video edits no longer work properly. I don't really like any of them any more. Where has the creativity gone? It just seems to be about who can do the most blatant trick. Nobody tells a gripping story anymore. What a pity!
Every now and then I'm asked if I've ever been mistaken for Fabio Wibmer. WHAT? The risk of confusion is really not that great now! ha ha
Over the past three years, I have focussed fully on my SENDERS Academy and my projects. That left little time for friends and hobbies. That's what I'm missing out on in life.
What I can't do at all? Swimming, I'm a bit of a cucumber!
Best sport apart from biking? Skydiving and motocross!
When I flick through the TV programme, I'm guaranteed to get stuck on: Formula 1
