Back pain is part of everyday life for many bikers. It's high time to change that. The fascia training experts at Blackroll thought so too and have developed a new online prevention course for a healthy back. Although the programme is not specifically designed for biking, it covers the most common problem areas and is therefore suitable for anyone who wants to prevent back problems. The course is presented by Stefan Schneider, Blackroll Master Trainer, and former biathlete and Olympic champion Magdalena Neuner. What makes it special: The course is certified by the Central Prevention Testing Centre (ZPP), which means that statutory health insurance companies can reimburse the costs. Participants also receive a free Blackroll Loop Band.
The programme is aimed at people aged between 18 and 69 and comprises eight 50-minute sessions with a warm-up, strengthening exercises, stretching and fascia self-massage. Practical tips and knowledge modules on back health are also offered. Only a few aids are required for the training.
The concept takes a holistic approach with exercises to strengthen, mobilise and stabilise the back, core and deep muscles. The aim is to compensate for muscular imbalances and improve posture.
After successful completion, participants receive a certificate for reimbursement of costs. The videos can be accessed at any time, from any location and as often as required and are available for an unlimited period of time.
With Magdalena Neuner, Blackroll was able to win over one of the most successful German athletes. The former biathlete with twelve world championship titles and two Olympic gold medals is committed to a healthy lifestyle. "It was incredibly good for me - and I wish everyone this feeling. Eight weeks in which you consolidate routines and gain new motivation," Neuner is quoted as saying.
