Elias Schwärzler wanted to be the fastest man on a mountain bike. The aim of his "Mission 300" was to break the barrier of 300 kilometres per hour on a standard mountain bike - a monstrous undertaking that would send shivers of terror through the bodies of most people besides the author.
Schwärzler prepared for the trial for over a year. On 22 May 2022, the time had come. He let a racing motorbike pull him along the straight of the Lausitzring's high-speed oval. With an official speed of 272 km/h, he missed the target he had set himself, but he certainly made it into the Guinness World Records. No one has ever been pulled so fast on a bike before.

His audience admires him for this, with over 865,000 followers following his adventures online. His two Freeride videos "My Dreamgirl (2)" have been viewed over 37 million times on YouTube. His latest action clip shows the most exciting scenes on the way to the world record.
