Lutz Eichholz loves breaking new ground. The 26-year-old has now conquered the 3000 metre high Cima Ombretta Orientale in the Dolomites on his unicycle. Here are the best impressions of the summit assault and the breathtaking downhill ride on his unicycle, summarised in a film by Martin Hanisch.

Lutz Eichholz from Kaiserslautern is one of the best unicyclists in the world. With his unicycle, the four-time world champion and world record holder pushes the limits of what is possible.

He prefers to find his obstacles and challenges in the great outdoors. The 26-year-old student of spatial and environmental engineering, who has already appeared on TV programmes from China to Israel, has now conquered the 3,000-metre-high Cima Ombretta Orientale in the Dolomites on his unicycle. He was accompanied by unicyclist Stephanie Dietze, because "you should never be travelling alone in high alpine terrain." Have fun watching!

Sebastian Brust was born in 1979 and was originally socialised on his grandmother's folding bike, but has mainly been riding studded tyres since his fifth birthday. Loves all kinds of bikes - and merging with nature. Believes that disc brakes are much safer today than they were 15 years ago and thinks he has helped with his brake and pad tests. However, the trained vehicle technology engineer very much regrets that the bicycle industry is orientating itself on what he considers to be the wrong ideals of the car industry. At BIKE, he corrects, produces and organises digital content on the website.
