Many gravity bikers will still remember how Amir Kabbani made his first appearance at the District Ride 2006 in Nuremberg. He was 17 years old at the time. Later, he was at the forefront of the FMB World Tour, doing the sickest tricks of his time. Many people liked his powerful, athletic riding style, which still reminds us a little of Darren Berrecloth today. The film about his biking career entitled "Kabbani" has been available since 19 May 2020.
After a 15-year professional career, Amir Kabbani's priorities have changed. This short film provides special insights into his life and the process of change. It's not about regrets. It's about honesty and growth.
"I am very grateful for the opportunity to share this story in such an artful way. This would not have been possible without the involvement of so many great people. Thank you all, whether you filmed, edited or polished; whether you wielded the shovel or helped with permissions. A huge thank you to Lukas and his crew for all their efforts and for making the film what it is today. You guys are mega!" (Amir Kabbani)
