On the Smart Trainer, while cooking, on the train, while travelling and much more - podcasts are listened to everywhere. Bike people listen to bike podcasts, and so do we in the BIKE editorial team. Our selection of bike podcasts follows the motto: from cargo bikes to aero tuning. Podcasts from Antritt to Zwischen den Speichen illuminate the bicycle, cycling and everything around it from all sides.
The Antritt podcast has been around for more than eight years. All facets of cycling are discussed in Antritt, with sections such as "My bike is sick" and "Ringing at Klötzer's", as well as the "Ride of the month", always shedding light on very different aspects, bikes and people. And anyone who occasionally reads the TOUR magazine, our sister magazine for road bike fans, will stumble across the name Klötzer. We can confirm that the conclusion is correct, as test and technology editor Jens Klötzer can be heard regularly on the Antritt podcast.
The list of podcasts about professional road cycling is long. One of them is the Besenwagen. In Besenwagen, former pros Andreas Stauff and Paul Voß chat to scene nerd Bastian Marks about everything to do with cycling. A leaf in front of their mouths? Not a chance. Guests are also invited.
The name already gives away a bit of what the podcast is about: it's about discovering the world by bike. It doesn't matter how, well, somehow by bike. Martin Moschek's guests are on the road in all sorts of ways, from ultra-cycling races and bikepacking tours to travelling the world by bike. The podcast is less about "higher, faster, further" and much more about experiences for life.
Johanna Jahnke invites like Martin Moschek The podcast features very different people from the bikepacking, gravel and ultracycling scene. But other relevant topics, such as first aid, bike fitting and bike building, also find a place in her podcast. The fact that this kind of production also changes the world is demonstrated by the fact that Johanna's podcast was crucial for the launch of a Pilot study by the University of Innsbruck, in which water retention was analysed in ultra-distance cyclists.
The episodes are often over two hours long - or longer. The Enjoyyourbike podcast is all about road bikes, gravel bikes, bikepacking and triathlons. It often goes deep into the subject matter discussed, especially when it comes to technical topics. In general, there is something for most people in every episode. And if you don't just want to listen, you can also watch the podcast on YouTube. "Lots of experience reports, personal opinions, interesting interview guests and many personal training, bikepacking and sports adventure experiences" is how Enjoyyourbike itself describes the content of the podcast.
On Fahrradio, the Dorsch brothers chat about all kinds of cycling topics and sometimes get lost in one or the other. Listening to them, it's almost as if you're sitting at the table and listening to their conversation.
Of course, you wouldn't wish a chain break on anyone. But the podcast with this name is worth a recommendation. Lisa D. and Luca Bockelmann talk entertainingly about their experiences on and with bikes.
Hot off the press... er, I mean brand new is the Lights On podcast from lighting specialist Supernova. The podcast is about all aspects of cycling and cycling that are somehow related to lighting. A wide variety of people from the cycling scene will be visiting. The podcast can be listened to via Spotify YouTube - with moving images in the latter case, of course.
Christoph Strasser's seat can take a lot. And it's always well looked after. And that of his podcast colleague Florian Kraschnitzer certainly is. More on ultracycling races, strategies, preparation, analysis,... from supported to unsupported, from Christoph, Florian and their guests.
Deep talk about training in the Scyence podcast. Lukas Löhr and Lennart Klein talk in detail about training science, training trends, nutrition, equipment - and they chat about their view of the cycling scene. Listening with half an ear is possible for all those who are already familiar with the topic. If you're just starting to get to grips with the subject, you should listen to the podcast during LIT training sessions rather than HIT sessions - or on the sofa. If you want more, you can find out about training plans or personal coaching from the experts at Scyence at scyence.cc.

Now they want to provide insights behind the scenes with their podcast "Zwischen den Speichen". Not only their videos are produced to a high standard, but also the podcast. Because their principle always applies to all their content: quality over quantity.
