Michi Düchs is the face and presenter of the programme Uphill - downhillwho can usually be seen on ropes and steep cliffs on Bayerischer Rundfunk - a mountaineering magazine programme that has been broadcast regularly for more than 40 years. However, the programme is also regularly devoted to the topic of mountain biking. In the online series Mountain people female mountain bikers were portrayed in the ongoing 10th season, accompanied on their tours or observed during trail building.

In the current Bergauf-Bergab programme on BR television on Sunday 18 June at 6.45 pm, excerpts from the 11th season of Bergmenschen will be shown. This time, five female mountain bikers will once again be featured: Julia, Tanja, Ines, Raphaela and Tina. You can see how these women live out their passion for the mountains and MTB sport with enthusiasm and perfection.
The BR film team also visits two regions where small mountain bike clubs are active and have achieved a great deal: Mountain bikers from MTB Allgäu e.V. and Gravitationssportverein Miesbach are committed to improving the conditions for their sport. And acceptance. They are looking for the Dialogue with authorities, landowners and other interest groupsto find new solutions to old conflicts on the trails together. The end result will (hopefully) be legal trails - and better co-operation between all those who want to experience the mountains.
