And the winner is...

You'll get the answer at the Ballhaus in Rosenheim - on Friday, 7 March, 7:30 pm.
The three audience favourites will be shown:

  1. Mission Impossible (kayak)
  2. Þetta reddast (high altitude mountaineering)
  3. Trans Balearics (MTB)

World-class athletes are guests on site: The sports stars talk about their experiences, successes and fears.

  • Tamara Lunger: World-class high-altitude mountaineer from South Tyrol. At the age of 23, she was the youngest woman to reach the summit of Lhotse, and at 28, the summit of K2. But defeats and strokes of fate have hurt, moulded and changed Tamara. In Þetta reddast, Tamara searches for a new path in life. A very personal and emotional film.
  • Adrian MatternRed Bull extreme kayaker from Heidelberg. He is one of the absolute best in the world and plunges down waterfalls up to 45 metres high.
  • Olaf Obsommer: Multi-award-winning filmmaker and adventurer. He has been travelling the world in his kayak for 30 years and lives in Rosenheim.
  • Gerhard Czerner (with live presentation): Expedition biker from Augsburg. He has been to the highest mountains in the world on his mountain bike. In his live multimedia presentation, he talks about his bike & packraft adventure in Montenegro and his bike expedition in Kyrgyzstan.

As we all know, the best is saved for last! On 7 March, the current B/O/F/F season officially ends with the highlight of the event series: the B/O/F/F awards the Bavarian Outdoor Film Prize as an audience-only award to the best film of the year. At each of the more than 75 events that have taken place since June 2024, the B/O/F/F moderators asked the audience: What are your three favourite films? Many thousands of viewers have chosen their favourites from the exclusive mountain, bike, kayak and ski films over the past few months.

Doing good

100% of the donations from spectators on 7 March will go to the "I want to get up there!" initiative. The non-profit organisation IWDR stands for inclusion through the shared hobby of climbing.
