This year marks the sixth time that Cyclingworld Europe, which was initially known as Cyclingworld Düsseldorf, has taken place. This weekend, bike fans will once again flock to the Areal Böhler in droves. The bike fair and its exhibitors will once again present the crème de la crème from the world of bikes and e-bikes and encourage visitors to try them out.
Cyclingworld Europe will once again be showcasing the latest trends in the bicycle industry in 2024. Around 320 exhibitors with around 450 brands have announced their participation in the indoor area. This year, the trade fair was almost fully booked out faster than expected. Outside on a spacious festival site, there will also be around 80 exhibition stands. Visitors can try out a wide variety of bikes here.
The initiator and Managing Director of Cyclingworld Europe confirms that the importance of this trade fair is growing: "The variety of exhibitors and the early space utilisation for 2024 show that Cyclingworld Europe has once again gained in importance in the industry and beyond. We are particularly pleased that we can once again welcome many international exhibitors and offer a diverse supporting programme. The trade fair in the state capital of North Rhine-Westphalia is therefore once again proving to be the perfect place to meet for the public and the industry at the start of the cycling season."
With a total of six exhibition halls, Cyclingworld 2024 utilises the entire space available at the Areal Böhler. Among other things, the following will be presented:
Admittedly, looking at bikes can trigger a few emotions, but the joy is all the greater when you can try them out. Naturally, the trade fair has come up with something special. The Demoworld and a special off-road demo track invite you to test rides. The supporting programme also includes countless rides where everyone has the opportunity to ride along and explore the surrounding area - please note! Registration required in advance.
Shortly before the trade fair opens its doors to the stream of visitors, there is a loud ringing through the exhibition halls of the Areal Böhler: the Rrrrrringadingdoooooong opening ride has already become a tradition. As mentioned, several road bike and gravel rides take place every day. And in the run-up to the trade fair, there will even be a rally ride to Cyclingworld on the programme. There will even be two races as part of the event. One is the annual Fixedgear Crit, a bike race without brakes, gears and freewheel on a short lap. Or how about a cyclocross race? It took a break last year, but is back on the Cyclingworld programme this year. Here too, the aim is to ride in a circle, so to speak, on a short lap - this time off-road and on gravel or cyclocross bikes.
There are also indoor events to take part in. Several bike fairs have joined forces and launched the Virtual Hero open race series. Visitors to the trade fair can compete in short, exciting virtual bike races and qualify for the final, which takes place at the Eurobike in Frankfurt will take place.
Once again, an entire hall, the "Glühofenhalle", is reserved for the youngsters. The Puky Kids World is set up here. The little ones can have fun honing their personal skills on the course and get fit for road traffic.
Cyclingworld Europe offers a diverse programme for its guests, creatively combining the entire range of the bicycle and e-bike industry. From handmade products to international brands, from small to large exhibitors - everything is represented. This invites visitors to broaden their horizons and explore new things. The shared passion for cycling takes centre stage.
