At the Lake Bash everyone can decide for themselves whether they want to ride the route as a race or a tour. The majority of the 100 km route is ridden without timekeeping, with only three sections timed. On the remaining kilometres, you can chat to each other as you please, gravel together and enjoy the breathtaking nature of Lake Garda.
This "Epic" version offers the full programme of panoramic views and trails, but is also challenging and should be chosen by those with more training experience. The route is as varied as possible: asphalt serpentines and gravel climbs, but also flat passages with fantastic views, rough trail descents and a flowing finale await the participants.
Each passage has its own special charm. The stunning view over Lake Garda on the first climb. The turquoise blue of Lake Tenno. The high plateau with views stretching for kilometres at Fiavé. The lovely Sarca Valley with the trail to the idyllic Lago di Cavedine.
For experienced gravel bikers, the route is pleasant to ride and requires no special riding skills, only the rough descent into the Sarca Valley demands courage and an extra portion of skills.
If the "Epic" version with 100 kilometres and a good 2000 metres in altitude is too much for you, you can register for the alternative "juicy" route with only 65 kilometres and a good 900 metres in altitude. It is not only shorter, but also significantly flatter and more flowing and is also suitable for beginners and less experienced cyclists.
Speaking of enjoyment factor: instead of classic race refreshments of iso, bananas and bars, regional specialities and Italian cappuccino are served here.
