August is behind us, September is here and October is just around the corner. This year, the BIKE Festival in Saalfelden Leogang is taking place over the first weekend in October – coinciding with German Unity Day. Enjoy the festival atmosphere one last time, tear around the bike park, hire test bikes or learn how to make it safely down the downhill track or bleed your brakes properly at one of the many workshops. The final programme has been confirmed and we’ll tell you everything you need to know.
Mark this in red on your calendar now: 2 to 4 October 2026 – Scene of the crime: Leogang Bike Park.
The centrepiece of the festival is the Bike Expo, which attracts thousands of visitors every year. Over 40 renowned brands and exhibitors showcase their latest products, bikes and innovations there.
The Saalfelden Leogang Bike Festival not only delights gravity fans, but also offers a varied programme for all age groups.
This includes:
There’s plenty on offer for the younger generation: as well as special kids’ workshops and ride-outs, the programme features two exciting race formats:
This is where young talents get the chance to show what they’re made of. At both events, having fun is the top priority for the children. Every participant is a winner!
Right next to the festival site is the legendary Epic Bikepark Leogang. All the routes and trails are open during the festival, so visitors can test the latest bikes straight away in real-world conditions.
And best of all: All festival guests will receive a 10 per cent discount on lift passes throughout the festival weekend.
Once again this year, the theme of the BIKE Festival in Saalfelden Leogang is: ‘Do it yourself rather than just watch’. As well as the bike park trails, there are workshops to choose from. And these feature some high-profile names. Prices range from 0 euros to 9 euros. Personal training costs 50 euros.
