Damp and cheerful conditions on the second day of the BIKE Festival Saalfelden Leogang 2022, but that couldn't stop real bikers from taking part in the many workshops. And what could be more enlightening than Fabio Wibmer unpacking his wicked tricks!

Day 2 - intermittent heavy rain at 7 degrees Celsius - and yes, the first snow on the peaks of the Leogang mountains. But the mood: 120 per cent! The weather is (almost) no match for us outdoor athletes. Especially when the programme is right. How already on the first day of the BIKE Festival perfectly prepared test bikes are waiting to be ridden, MTB pros show you how to find the perfect line at workshops in the Bikepark Leogang and the performances by MTB star Fabio Wibmer and his bike flip show are a real highlight.

The somewhat cloudy weather couldn't spoil Marlena's mood. She rocks the lines with the girls.

New winter shoe: Fizik Terra Artica GTX

The Italians are using a waterproof Gore-Tex membrane for the first time.

A grippy sole on the underside is waiting to claw into the ground.

Cosy koala lining to keep your feet at the right temperature.

The raised flap is designed to keep moisture out while remaining highly breathable.

Vpace Moritz: now also in 20 inches

The latest addition to the children's Fully family now rolls on 20-inch wheels and should be suitable for kids from 110 cm tall.

Vpace has the 100-millimetre fork manufactured to its own specifications. It should be perfectly matched to the low rider weight.

The Magura brakes can be perfectly adjusted for small hands.

The Manitou shock also has a special kids' tune.

Saves some more weight: the carbon fork bridge.

Specialised Status 160: from the internet now also in the bike shops

Specialized Status 160 at the BIKE Festival Saalfelden Leogang. The bike is now on sale - for 3700 euros. Previously, it was only available from selected dealers and online.

Fresh, but not yet in the available colour, the Specialized Status 160 is on the BIKE stand.

The entry-level bike for the bike parks comes with a Sram NX.

At the rear, a Fox shock with 160 mm travel works on the Status.

In addition to the damping, mullet tyres (29'' front, 27.5'' rear) provide the necessary playfulness.

World Cup Track Ride with Andi Kolb

Fancy shooting with World Cup pro Andi Kolb? Of course! Despite rain, wind and temperatures below ten degrees, the ride with the likeable Austrian was fully booked.

Before we start, it's time to warm up: Warm up. Definitely recommended in today's temperatures.

Andi and the participants in search of the perfect line through the root field.

Of course, the riders were also allowed to speculate about the best possible line. Andi then explains why he opts for his personal choice of track.

The pro shows us how it's done. The speed that is possible even on slippery roots is unbelievable.
