The 31st edition of the FSA Bike Festival Riva del Garda in 2025 will be a meeting point for bike enthusiasts from all over the world. From 1 to 4 May, Garda Trentino will be transformed into a paradise for mountain, e-mountain and gravel bikers. Amidst the picturesque landscape of Lake Garda, visitors can look forward to a varied programme under the motto "Riding Freedom!". The event not only offers the opportunity to test the latest models from renowned manufacturers, but also to take part in various races and guided tours, find out more at expert talks and enjoy the legendary Italian way of life.
The festival officially kicks off on 1 May at 11 a.m. with the opening ceremony on the main stage of the Expo Area. A highlight of the first day is the presentation of the Bike Festival Awards at 2 pm, where the best bikes of the year will be honoured in the MTB-Fully, E-MTB-Fully and Gravel categories. A special prize will also be awarded for the bike with the most innovative function. In the evening, the Red Bull Summer Vibes will create a festive atmosphere among the participants. The second day of the festival is all about the MAXXIS Gravel Garda Trentino and the Bosch eMTB Challenge, before the sporting highlight follows on Saturday with the legendary Bike Marathon. Numerous professionals will also be battling for valuable points in the UCI rankings. At the same time, e-bike enthusiasts can explore the beauty of the region on northern Lake Garda in the fun-fuelled eBike Marathon. Saturday evening offers further opportunities to celebrate and network with the Open Night and the Bike Festival Party. The race programme concludes on Sunday with the Scott Junior Trophy for young riders.
Over 1,500 mountain, e-mountain, gravel and other bikes will be available for visitors to test throughout the duration of the festival. The latest models from the exhibitors can be tested extensively on various trails such as the BF Test Trail - Easy, the BF Test Trail - Brione or the Expo Area Test Trail. For those who want to explore the surroundings of Lake Garda, four different guided tours powered by Mmove will be offered every day. Those who want to improve their riding technique can take part in the MTB School, which offers technique sessions in the new Busatte Skill Park. The SICK! shows, which take place several times a day, promise action and adrenaline. Shows - powered by Bikeflip Marketplace. Yoga for Bikers with Timo Pritzel will provide relaxation. In the Talk Area next to the main stage, experts and athletes will discuss current cycling-related topics, from technology and innovation to accessibility and sustainability.
A special focus this year is on offers for the next generation. Three special kids' areas - the AGS Nature Playground, the Little Riders Zone and the Hopper Jump & Wild Wheels area - offer routes suitable for children to let off steam. Food and drink are also catered for: local clubs and businesses present the best regional specialities, including vegetarian alternatives. A culinary highlight is the official Bike Festival Dish created by star chef Peter Brunel.
On the eve of the official opening, the new Bike Festival Riva Future Summit will take place on 30 April from 4 pm at the Hotel du Lac. This event is aimed specifically at exhibitors and offers a platform for networking and exchanging information. The discussions will focus on questions such as "How is AI changing the bike world?", "In which areas can AI be used in the bike industry?" and "Where can it improve the user experience?". The moderator will be Petra Bindl, a journalist with expertise in the fields of sport and artificial intelligence. Guests include Claudius Zick, former manager at Amazon and AI expert, Hannes Neupert, mobility expert and eBike pioneer, Andrea Ziliani, YouTuber and bike tester, and Ciro Malacarne, mechatronics engineer at ProM Facility. Rovereto-born sailor and two-time Olympic champion Ruggero Tita from Brazil will also be joining the programme.
