Last year, the BIKE editorial team ran a live blog on the Riva del Garda Bike Festival for the first time - and it was well received. That's why we will not only be attending the planned events this year, but also reporting from the ground. Among other things, we will accompany rides, show the latest product highlights and, of course, not miss out on the celebrations at the Open Night on Saturday evening. This should make those who can't be there this year envious and inspire others who haven't been able to get involved with the festival so far.

This year, the new organiser Garda Trentino is focusing on accessibility and sustainability. Paths, car parks and connecting bridges are designed to make it easy to get around the Expo site. The festival has been awarded ACS certification (Open Mark Certification) for its comprehensive accessibility. There will also be an area with innovative bicycles for people with disabilities.
The organiser wants to promote the sustainability of the event by providing free drinking water dispensers and recycled plastic cups throughout the site. Regional products are also being used, such as for the catering and electricity, and the materials used to set up the festival are predominantly produced in an environmentally friendly way. The waste separation system with recycling also focusses on sustainability.
