Young start-ups & global players in Frankfurt
The latest models, fresh innovations and spectacular visions of the future. At Eurobike 2022 in Frankfurt am Main in mid-July, exhibitors from the bike and mobility industry will be showcasing their diversity. There will be many young start-ups and long-lost old acquaintances.

From 13 to 17 July, the bicycle and mobility industry met at this year's Eurobike in Frankfurt am Main. The new location, the new date and a clear commitment to being close to the end consumer once again attracted numerous exhibitors. And even industry giants who had already turned their backs on Eurobike are once again represented at Europe's number one bicycle trade fair. Very exciting: the fully booked start-up area, where young, innovative companies present their latest inventions to the public.

"With a top participation of more than 1500 exhibiting companies from all over the world, the 30th Eurobike shows what is possible together - Frankfurt is becoming Eurobike City and cycling and urban mobility of tomorrow are more relevant than ever in the context of current events," announces Stefan Reisinger. He is Managing Director of fairnamic GmbH, the joint venture between the Friedrichshafen and Frankfurt trade fair companies, which are focussing on the future markets of bicycles, e-bikes, micromobility and general aviation with the leading trade fairs Eurobike and Aero.

Bikes for everyday urban life: micromobility is just one focus of this year's Eurobike in Frankfurt. Bikes for everyday urban life: micromobility is just one focus of this year's Eurobike in Frankfurt.

The German direct mail order companies or the specialist retail brands Cube, Giant (with the exception of the Cadex wheel brand) and Trek are still absent from Eurobike. They are cooking their own soup at in-house trade fairs or have left for the new competition, the IAA Mobility, in Munich. Other global players are once again represented with their own stand, including Specialized and Sram, for example.

Eurobike: Cycling booms better with personal contacts

"With the exception of 2021, Sram has always had a large presence at Eurobike. Due to the uncertainty surrounding Covid-19, the challenges in the supply chain and the low number of participants, we have decided not to take part in 2021," says Sram Marketing Manager Géraldine Bergeron, explaining the component manufacturer's break from Eurobike.

Bergeron praises the reorganisation of the trade fair and is already looking forward to the hustle and bustle: "The new location and the new dates, the cycling boom, the stronger focus on end consumers and the great desire for personal contacts were important reasons for us to take part in Eurobike again. The organisers are moving in the right direction and we are convinced by the new approach and concept."

Peter Wöstmann is also satisfied. The PR & Communications Manager at Ortlieb is looking forward to Eurobike 2022 with confidence: "The new location is a good choice for us as an internationally active brand with partners in 50 countries, as the accessibility of the trade fair has of course increased significantly. The new concept with a clear, future-orientated focus as the establishment of a platform and trade fair for the mobility of tomorrow also seems very coherent so far. We are therefore looking forward to the first Eurobike in Frankfurt with great anticipation and are looking forward to an inspiring time and seeing our partners and customers again."

The 30th Eurobike will be open from Wednesday, 13 July to Sunday, 17 July 2022, from 9 am to 6 pm. The public days are Saturday and Sunday. The complete list of exhibitors at Eurobike 2022 can be found at www.eurobike.com
