Following the Business Days (13 to 15 July), which are only open to trade visitors, the trade fair heralds the Festival Days (16 - 17 July), where all bike fans can familiarise themselves with the latest bike trends and enjoy an extensive action-packed programme.
The open-air area between Halls 9 and 11 will be the centre of the Eurobike Festival Days action. A special highlight will take place here on Saturday and Sunday, when the best MTB slopestyle riders in the world let off steam on the 130 metre long dirt course, peppered with four jumps and a hip feature. After the pre-qualifying on Friday, action is already guaranteed for Saturday with the qualifying and especially the best trick contest in the late afternoon. The final will follow on Sunday afternoon, when the remaining finalists around superstars Emil Johansson and Erik Fedko will take to the course from the ten-metre-high starting tower at around 3 pm. In addition to prize money, fame and honour, the Eurobike Gold Event also has a very special prize up its sleeve: a wildcard for the Red Bull District Ride in Nuremberg in September will go to the best rider who has not already qualified.
A must at the Eurobike: The performances by trail bike superstar Danny MacAskill and his team with the Drop and Roll show are almost a tradition at the bike show. On Saturday and Sunday in Frankfurt, the bikers will once again wow the crowds with spectacular balancing acts, drops and flips - including various ramps, a picket fence and the infamous gymnastics ball. The well-practised crew knows exactly how to get the audience going and make a few jaws drop. The good news for all late risers: Danny and co. get back on their bikes for a second show in the afternoon. During the signing sessions after each show, the Drop and Roll stars also make time for their fans and are available for autographs and photos.
The 30th Eurobike is open from Wednesday, 13 July to Sunday, 17 July 2022 from 9 am to 6 pm. Public days: Saturday and Sunday. Further information at: www.eurobike.com. Tickets for the Festival Days are available here: Tickets
