All 43 Eurobike Award winners at a glance

Only the most innovative products in the bicycle and accessories industry receive the Eurobike Award. Gold Award, Green and Start-Up: Here are all 43 winners of 2017 - a journey through the modern bike world.

Of the entries submitted in 2017, only 43 products stood up to the judgement of the expert jury. Only those that impressed with "special innovations, new functions and outstanding quality" received the coveted Eurobike Award. The best among them were honoured with the Gold Award, the Green Award honoured particularly sustainable product design and - brand new - the special start-up awards honoured particularly successful products from newly founded companies.

Few products were honoured in the mountain bike category (without the "E"). But we like to think outside the box and show an overview of all the Eurobike Award winners here:

On the titanium racer with 12 mm thru-axles, the front brake line runs hidden in the perfectly integrated fork. Cables and lines emerge from a cap underneath the press-fit bottom bracket to the rear wheel. Jury Statement: The market for titanium road bikes is small, but we are particularly impressed by the Skeiron with its classic retro design and the unique integration of the cables in the cockpit and frame. The price-performance ratio is very good for a titanium bike with disc brakes.

Jury statement: The Mokumono has completely restructured bicycle production, which enables high added value in Europe and therefore short transport routes. We also liked the design at first sight.

The rider is supported by the lightweight motor up to 25 km/h, after which the bike continues without resistance. Jury statement: The electrification of bicycles has so far largely bypassed the road bike. We are convinced that this will change with Project Y. This is already evident in the prototype thanks to the successful design with the integration of the evation drive.

Made from breathable materials, it offers a multitude of zips, pockets and loops, with the help of which the all-weather jacket, which also includes rain protection for the legs, can be converted into an everyday jacket.

The motor and battery can be easily removed, leaving you with a normal bike. The low weight and easy handling also make the evation drive worthy of an award. Some bicycle manufacturers have also recognised this and are already using the system for their pedelecs - including road bikes.

We were immediately impressed by this new option in our practical test. Here, a large automotive supplier is working together with a small quality manufacturer.

Jury statement: The LocLock is a good incentive for cities to make bike racks more attractive. It can improve the infrastructure for urban biking. The combination of cement for durability and the surface that does not discolour the frame is a very good idea.

The highlight of the Ruut CF1 is its versatility thanks to the possibility of adjusting the fork so that the rider can adopt either a sporty or a more upright riding position.

In the case of MTBNB, this is a very good idea: you can not only find the most exciting routes while mountain biking at your holiday destination, but perhaps also make new friends. Of course, the accommodation on offer is also presented.

There are not so many comparable models on the market. Together with the accompanying app, the affordable pedelec also offers theft protection and GPS tracking - a successful overall package.

The frame architecture is also very tidy. When transporting children, it's nice to have eye contact with the little passenger.
